Splendori rinascimentali nelle corti dell'Italia settentrionale

La mostra Splendori rinascimentali nelle corti dell’Italia settentrionale è organizzata dalla Biblioteca Trivulziana in coordinamento con l’analoga iniziativa espositiva di manoscritti miniati in programma al The J. Paul Getty Museum dal 31 marzo al 21 giugno 2015. Entrambe le mostre offrono ai visitatori l’occasione di apprezzare in situ la qualità artistica dei prodotti librari realizzati e miniati nelle più importanti corti dell’Italia settentrionale dalla fine del Trecento alla metà del Cinquecento. Inoltre, attraverso alcune postazioni sul tavolo didattico allestito nella Sala Castellana è possibile accedere direttamente alla selezione di immagini e di testi relativi alle opere in mostra presso il Castello Sforzesco e il The J. Paul Getty Museum.

The exhibition Renaissance Splendors of the Northern Italian Courts is organised by the Biblioteca Trivulziana in coordination with the parallel exhibition of illuminated manuscripts scheduled at The J. Paul Getty Museum from 31 March to 21 June 2015. Both exhibitions offer visitors a chance to enjoy in situ the artistic quality of the manuscripts produced and illuminated in the most important courts of northern Italy from the end of the 14th to the mid-16th century. Moreover, from workstations at the multitouch table set up in the Sala Castellana, visitors can directly access a selection of images and texts relating to the works on display in the Sforza Castle and The J. Paul Getty Museum.
